Dental treatment in Turkey

The destination that tops our atlas for UK patients — the deepest savings, the densest concentration of accredited clinics, and patient journeys built specifically around the British traveller.

Why Turkey leads for UK patients

Turkey has become the default destination for British dental patients for one reason: it offers the rare combination of the lowest prices and a very high concentration of internationally accredited clinics. Antalya, on the Mediterranean coast, is the epicentre — a city with dozens of JCI and ISO-certified clinics that treat UK patients every week, with English-speaking coordinators, included hotels and airport transfers, and lifetime implant guarantees.

The savings are the largest of any destination we rank. A single implant with a crown costs £2,400–£3,400 privately in the UK and £750–£1,400 in Turkey. A full-arch All-on-4 that runs to £14,000–£22,000 per arch in the UK is £4,500–£7,500 in Turkey — a difference of well over £10,000 even after flights and a hotel. These are the numbers that make a two-trip treatment plan worthwhile.

Antalya vs Istanbul

Both cities have outstanding clinics. Antalya is the relaxed, resort-style choice — a short transfer from the airport to clinics and beachfront hotels, ideal for recovering between appointments. Istanbul is the bustling metropolis with very high treatment volumes and excellent veneer and crown work, but a busier, less restful experience. For most UK patients combining treatment with recovery time, Antalya is the more comfortable base — which is one reason our recommended clinic is there.

Planning your trips

Implants and full-arch cases typically need two visits a few months apart: surgery and healing first, then the final teeth. Veneers and crowns can often be completed in a single 5–7 day visit. Budget £80–£250 for return flights from most UK airports, and confirm whether your clinic includes the hotel and transfers — the best ones do.

Staying safe in Turkey

Turkey's leading clinics meet international standards, but standards vary, so due diligence matters. Confirm accreditation (JCI or ISO), insist on a written treatment plan that names the implant brand, and check the guarantee. Our safety and accreditation guide walks through the full checklist, which mirrors GDC guidance on overseas treatment.
